Did Jesus rise from the dead?

This is THE QUESTION of whether Christianity stands or falls. Whether you believe any of the Bible or not this event in history must be dealt on its own. Something happened. And many who set forth on the journey to disprove do come back the same.

How do you explain it?

There are several common theories that persist over time as explanations for the resurrection. They seem plausible on the surface. Do they have any depth to their claims? Do you have another theory? To what depth have you explored that? Have you ever seen arguments against your point of view? Are you willing to weigh ALL the evidence?

Jesus outside the Bible

Let's disregard the Bible for a moment. What do other reputable sources of history say about Jesus if anything? Did he really exist? And if he did what do we know about him without even looking at Scriptures.

Liar or Lunatic or Lord?

Was Jesus just a great moral teacher? If so his claims about himself do not make any sense. Why is that? Could he be something more? Or something much less?

Who do you say I am?

Modern scholars are rather certain Jesus existed. Even sources outside the Bible attest to this. The question becomes who did Jesus say he was? How did people respond to that? If it's potentially true how will you respond? Will you seek the truth further?

One way or many?

Jesus said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" [John 14:6]. CS Lewis commented that someone to make such claims must be a liar, a lunatic, or lord? But to accept this we have to be willing to admit that only one religion may actually be true. Is that possible?
