for the lost, desperate & hopeless
Saint Jude is my pseudonym. In several traditions he is the patron saint of “lost causes” and “desperate cases”. I regularly experience loss, desperation, and hopelessness. Most of us do.
I suffered for good part of my life (decades) with undiagnosed ADHD which wreaked havoc on my family. Even with medication now, I am not a better person, just more alert, struggling to make sense of the world and to deal with the pain of the past. It truly takes a miracle to change for the better, to find that hope it WILL get better.
I try to tackle some areas that may be of interest to you about God. But at the end of the day, all of us need something more that textbook answers to keep us from continuing down our own paths of hopelessness and desperation. We need something personal. Something real. Something new.
I sincerely believe Jesus is that person who is real for you. I hope and pray that God’s Spirit will make him new to you through these pages and through other areas of your life where you need him most.
